Be Inspired & Volunteer Today!

Ever thought about gap year volunteering ? Perhaps volunteering in Malawi? Popular activities now include volunteering in Nairobi .What about spending part of your gap year on an African adventure? How about combining volunteering in Africa where you can make a positive impact on the lives of some of the poorest people in the world with an adventure holiday where you can go on a safari or climb up one of Africa's highest mountains. This is your chance to see what Africa has to offer.

It is a great choice to combine the volunteering and adventure aspects. This is something we strongly recommend if you want to make the most out of your trip to Africa. Volunteering is not necessarily a lot of physical hard work but it can on many occasions be emotionally draining. Even though Africa is one of the poorest continents in the world it is considered one of the best places to work as a volunteer because there are many projects within the local communities. The African continent is also one of the largest in the world so it doesn't come as much of a surprise that there is a vast array of  adventures activities to take part in.

Although Africa is rich in culture and has a wide range of diversity on the continent, sadly there are many areas most notably on the outskirts of major cities such as Cairo, Nairobi and Cape Town are home to people so poor they cannot afford food, health care and school. These areas are rife with diseases such as HIV and AIDS which is where these areas are home to so many orphaned children. A few weeks spent in these places, helping with volunteering teaching or as a volunteer medical assistant, really can change people's lives.

You can help change the lives of many people in the poor communities of Africa. Life is hard for many here and they need as much help as they can get. It is truly inspiring to see how these people cope under these conditions and is great to see the self esteem within the locals boosted when volunteers offer their help.
