Thank you very much for your work on the podcasts. I studied Spanish in college but focused on Spain rather than? Latin America in my studies. I also studied in Alicante and Madrid and picked up the Castilian accent, slang and mannerisms. Since these aren’t used commonly in the United States (the fourth largest Spanish speaking country in the world by the way), your stuff has really helped me to maintain the ceseo and the accent. So thanks!

Genial como siempre, también quería tratar el tema de la buena educación al pedirle a alguien que te pase algo en la mesa. Mientras que en las culturas angloparlantes es habitual decir siempre “please” y “thank you” incluso con la propia familia, con? gente de habla hispana típicamente se puede prescindir de tales detalles y decir simplemente “dame…”, “pásame…”, etc. La etiqueta en inglés siempre me ha parecido un rollo total, me gusta que los hispanohablantes tiendan a ir al grano

Ben y Marina, me gustaría dar las gracias por todo su duro trabajo docente me español! Me gusta la serie de audio mucho, pero sí encontrar los vídeos más fácil de aprender. Estoy esperando con interés la próxima serie de “notas en español”.
Es interesante ver las diferencias en la cultura. Yo vivo en Londres, y así comprender la? forma en Inglés de hacer las cosas. Estoy pensando en mudarse a España, así que estoy muy interesado en el aprendizaje de las formas español.
