For me this is the best cover for Kindle. I looked at every one available and this is the one that had everything I feel is important.
1. enough padding to protect my Kindle
2. thin enough so not to add excess size or weight because my Kindle goes everywhere with me in my handbag
3. zips around so Kindle cannot fall out
4. corner loops hold securely
5. zip pouch on outside to carry cord
6. sleeve for e-luminator – it they ever come back in stock so I can get one
7. cover folds all the way around the back and zips
I bought it in yellow which it makes it very easy to see in a large handbag or backpack.
I am very happy with this product.

I saw negative reviews (different color) but I wanted give a try and ordered this red/black one.
the case is great fit and zipping around good. (sometimes it is not smooth zipping) but it’s still zip and my kindle is secure!! I can use M-edge light on it and of. love the light weight of this case is the most!!
if you are looking for the case to be light weight and still protect your kindle and put in purse or something,
this is good case. I have other leather cases but this is the lightest and protected with zipper from dust etc..

It may not be as cool or elegant as some of the other Kindle covers available, but it is so practical and has everything I was looking for — it is lightweight, it is attractive and well made, it protects, and it gives the experience of reading like a book. The small size 2nd generation Kindle fits perfectly, easily, and securely in the corner bands on the right side, but you can still easily turn it on and off and charge it without removing it (or easily remove it and replace it anytime you want to take it out to show someone what it looks like, etc.). Plus, it doesn’t look like something to steal. It is nice looking, but doesn’t scream “expensive electronic device inside.”

I own an M-Edge leather cover for my Kindle. It’s a good cover, but over time I became a bit concerned about dust and dirt getting to my Kindle as I carried it around with me. I really began to think that a full zip around case would do a better job of protecting my precious baby. After comparing what was available on Amazon and reading the user feed back, I opted for this new Latitude case from M-Edge.
The case weighs only half as much as the leather cover. That is a noticeable difference for me, but it also gave me some pause about just how much protection it would actually provide. After a month of use, I find that my kindle is as well protected as I need it to be, and then some when I consider that it is now fully enclosed.
Another advantage of the full wrap-around zipper is that the case does not use the Amazon clip to secure the kindle in the case. Instead the kindle is held in place by four corner mounts. My Kindle has never come loose from these corner mounts when being carried in my purse or in a backpack. And with no side clip to fool with, the Kindle is easily removed from the case for standalone use if desired.
I have never had any trouble with the wrap around zipper itself. It is a little snug around the corners, but has never failed to navigate the turns with ease. And it has not torn with use.
This case is rapidly becoming my favorite case for my Kindle 2. The only negative thing aboout this case that I have observed is the fact that the picture shown on this page suggests that the power cord and AC adaptor will easily fit into the zippered pocket. Power cord, yes; AC adaptor, no, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

After reading reviews for several other covers, I purchased the mEdge based on a few details I gathered.
1. It zips all the way around. I like the containment factor, plus it keeps my Kindle protected. The inside of my bag is sometimes a mess of crumbs, keys, baby toys, and sometimes forks. Never know what would get in there, otherwise.
2. It looks rugged. Not too tempting for roving eyes when closed up.
3. Has pockets.
Upon receiving the item, along with my Kindle, I’ve discovered that it is light, zips all the way around even while my Kindle is charging (except where the cable protrudes). I also love that I can put the charging cable in the front pocket, with some other papers/money/credit card in the back. Can be held open like a book, or bend the cover all the way back, as one might be prone to do.
Am thrilled with it; performs exactly as needed.
